DESCRIPTION: Graduate Shany Dagan presents 3rd Gen - A Survivor’s Story for two weekend performances at the Peridance Dance Center, KnJ Theatre (126 East 13th Street, New York, NY 10003):-Saturday, November 16th at 8:00 pm-Sunday, November 17th at 4:00 pm3rd Gen is a unique dance project commemorating Holocaust survival stories through dance and has been in the making for over four years.The show focuses on hope and overcoming challenges and will present two survival stories side by side in a beautiful simultaneous sequence that combines dance, live original music, and video testimony.Each show will be based on true events as told by the survivors themselves and will contain personal interviews and recordings, putting a face and voice behind each story.
