ABOUT SAMI STEIGMANN:
Sami Steigmann was born on December 21, 1939. From 1941-1944, he was sent with his parents to a Nazi labor camp. Too young to be put to work, he was the subject of Nazi medical experimentation. While he has no recollection of those years, he still suffers, all these years later, from severe physical pain from those procedures. Miraculously, he survived those years and their hardships, almost dying of starvation, and has remade his life dedicated to helping others.
