DESCRIPTION: Want to know what it takes to be a Tour Singer in MJ the Musical? This is your chance to find out! During this exciting workshop, we will be dissecting and learning some of the BGVs (Background Vocals) in MJ the Musical, while working on blend, pitch placement, intonation, and the iconic musical stylings of Michael Jackson. Let’s loosen up those vocal cords, sharpen those ears, and get ready to SING OUT cause we’re about to be Startin’ Somethin’.

MJ THE MUSICAL DANCE INTENSIVE WITH MICHAEL HARMON

DESCRIPTION: Michael Jackson is one of the most iconic performers in history and his blend of different styles and techniques are still being studied today. In this class, we will learn a dance combination in the style of “Smooth Criminal,” where we combine the iconic MJ vocabulary with Fred Astaire, Fosse, and Nicolas Brothers techniques. Not only will you have a chance to learn a combo in the style of MJ the Musical’s Tony Award-winning Broadway choreography, but you’ll also have the chance to learn how to execute challenging choreography and make it look effortless. So come ready to perform like you’re onstage with THE King Of Pop!
