I Put a Spell on You, the annual Halloween concert-meets-party, will move online and stream for free on October 29 at 8 pm EST.
The virtual Halloween blowout is free to attend and donations will be accepted for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
I Put a Spell on You was created by and stars Jay Armstrong Johnson. The annual show is a spoof of and tribute to the movie Hocus Pocus. This year, the beloved Sanderson Sisters recruit some of pop culture’s most iconic villains to fulfill their delightfully devious plot. Johnson returns as "Winifred Sanderson" with Allison Robinson and Amanda Williams Ware as sisters "Sarah" and "Mary."
In addition to our AMDA alumni, performers include Nick Rashad Burroughs, Gavin Creel, Drew Gehling, Todrick Hall, Robyn Hurder, Eva Noblezada, Ahmad Simmons, Will Swenson, Bob The Drag Queen, Kizha Carr, Peachez, Alexis Michelle, and more.Spread the word about this event!
